Using Outlook with an Exchange Server

This presentation will be a demonstration of using Outlook via Remote Desktop and Outlook Web Access by Sharon Lovett. There are many features such as sharing mailboxes and calendars, adding additional mailboxes and using public folders that are only available with an exchange server. There are also storage issues that usually do not apply to single stand-alone users (e.g. sharing personal folders) that will be discussed. This session will be aimed at showing the user experience of Outlook over a network. How to set up exchange servers will not be included.

Troubleshooting software problems is quite different than training people how to use the various feature of the applications so come with questions on issues that you have experienced during your training sessions.

Sharon Lovett is the Applications Support Specialist for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. Over the past decade she has worked with the staff of ICAO as their software trainer and maintains the support help desk. Her perspective is one that covers both the end user issues and those of the IT department that maintains the applications.
