Creating Engaging Online Courses

  • Mary Lacroix

Ever wondered how you can create engaging onlne courses? This presentation will show you some of the tools and approaches that can be used to deliver the results you want. We will run through basic demos of Camtasia, a sophisticated screen capture program, and Captivate, which is a more all purpose program that can create courses that include video, embedded Flash, quizzes, interactive elements, and more.

We will also look at a variety of finished courses and online learning opportunities, and the research and best practices that contribute to their success.
